A Mission Rooted in Compassion
Founded on Christian values of love, care, and compassion, Riverson Foundation was established with one core purpose: to uplift the lives of the most vulnerable—particularly needy widows, orphans, and underprivileged children. We believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the chance to live a dignified, empowered life.
The Power of Education
Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. That’s why our Educational Support Program is a cornerstone of what we do. By providing school fees, learning materials, and mentorship, we ensure that every child we serve has the opportunity to succeed in school and dream beyond it.
Equipping Widows with Skills and Dignity
Many widows are left without support systems or means of livelihood. Through our Sustainable Livelihoods Program, we offer skills training, small business capital, and ongoing mentorship to help widows regain independence, provide for their families, and restore their confidence.
Meet Esi, a widow and mother of three who received support from our foundation. After completing a catering course through our training program, she launched a small food business that now feeds her family and supports her children’s education. “Riverson Foundation gave me a second chance,” she says with gratitude.
Health, Healing, and Hope
Beyond education and entrepreneurship, we know that health is vital to well-being. Our Healthcare and Counseling Program provides basic medical support, emotional counseling, and guidance for widows and orphans dealing with grief, trauma, and stress. We partner with local clinics and professionals to deliver care with empathy and dignity.
